VI COMMANDO
Lt. J.C. Long
Lt. J.C. Long served with No.6 Commando from, at least, 5th January 1942 when it was noted that he was in command of the Commando Guard at the Force 110 HQ until, at least, 5th March 1942.
He is noted as leaving for embarkation leave before going “overseas” on 26th February 1942 and returning to the unit on 5th March 1942.
It is understood that Lt. J.C. Long attained the rank of Major during his career after leaving No.6 Commando.
